Tabernacle of Praise Church International Youth Christmas production (Baba – David Patrick Jr) is the voice of the Almighty!
You’ll be encouraged by this generation of youth’s talent and gifted writer Melony Samuels; a member of our church brings out a most needed and inspiring message.
We’re headed back to South Africa December 30- January 27
See prayer point requests below.
In this Advent season we can’t help to think how our Lord Jesus Christ also lived a life of displacement, born on earth in less-than-ideal settings and circumstances, He fully identifies with all who may experience various trauma situations, especially at Christmas.
Luke 2:7
“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”
Today He continues to extend the invitation to all, “Come unto me all ye who labor; and are exhausted, overwhelmed, or crushed by life’s difficulties, sins, burdens, or struggles of the world. He offers true, lasting peace, spiritual rejuvenation and in exchange; His path of finding rest and hope in temporary pain, that may last for a night, a year, but eventually will subside positioning travelers for His greater purpose as His children.
THE ANOINTED HOUSE OF RESCUE continues as a transitional place of safety and restoration.
Our porchlight represents a beacon of hope; a small torch offered out to lead the vulnerable (battered women and children, widows, refugees) through some of their darkest times.
We remain eternally grateful for the assistance of Pastor Vidal Marion (Project Manager) Tess (House Mother) and the Saints of God from House of Truth for their sacrificial partnership ensuring all the logistics of this is a place where the heart and power of God manifests in the lives of individuals in moments of dire circumstances to where their situations are turning out for good.
Continue in prayer with us for the safety of all residents and workers on the property. Continue to pray that every need is met and every bill is paid. (Donation info listed below)
STILL ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS TO GIVE: PRAYER
Thanks to all who responded to requests joining us in the virtual global prayer for the persecuted church. Later in the week we heard from one of our former Nigerian students here in Georgia, thanking us for the prayers because this persecution is taking place in her community back home. Let’s continue battling on our knees.
South African Mission Prayer Points – Please pray that…
That our steps are ordered of the Lord the 3 weeks in S.A.
For protection from all danger in travels, in and around our stay at the rescue house
Anointing for all preaching and singing assignments where we will minister. One invitation is a wedding of a prominent Bishop, and his new bride, one of our former students. The 10th of January is the wedding. The following Sunday we will lead and preach in their services as they bid greetings in their new union to the congregation and leave for their honeymoon.
We have additional invitations graciously extended to minister in services while in the country. You can follow us on our social media platforms.
Pray for success in all business transactions re: TAHOR (rescue house) we must attend to while we are in the country. Pray that every need is met and every bill is paid and we have more than enough for every good work.
Pray in every encounter the love of Christ will be shed abroad into the lives of all we meet… so that the body of Christ is edified and the loss are ushered into the ark of safety.
Thank you for your “all year long” love and prayers. Some of you as supporters have prayed with us for over 30 years! We are eternally grateful. We know that your giving and praying are not just charitable acts, but an investment in God’s kingdom, with eternal returns.
